Reply from Ableton on youtube:
<<Hi! You trim by cropping what’s visible/played, slicing manually, or controlling play length via Decay or Gate settings. For complex endpoint editing, exporting the project to Ableton Live is the best way. We hope this helps!>>
Thanks Ableton for responding, but frankly code for basic sampling functionality has been around since 90s for:
- trimming end
- threshold sampling
- slicing
- zero point crossing
- automated time-stretching of sample to project tempo
- multi-sampling instruments
- live-looping
etc
All this should be available in version 1.0 of yr MOVE software
Appreciate slicing in v1.5!
Cheers
