Push 3 SA Granulator 3 - How to Load Samples

Trying to figure out how to load your own samples to granulator 3 on push 3 standalone. I'm probably just overlooking something but can't figure it out and can't find any relevant info. I just see mention of a max4live device someone made for sample selection which doesn't seem to exist now (though even that thread alludes to there being a way to load samples to granulator 3 regardless, just not as streamlined).

Can anyone assist?

it is similar to Wavetable, in that it doesnt seem to have been developed with Push 3 Standalone use in mind, which is such a shame as this would greatly expand the enjoyment and scope of Push 3 Standalone.

Maybe we will see this in the coming years, who knows for sure.

Agreed - whilst the sample load feature has been fixed in beta, I’m not sure if they’ve added the graphical display yet.

A graphical display (showing the grains) on push is essential to making this a fun usable instrument. I hope they make this improvement

Is this actually possible? I still cannot find any relevant information online, other than this post, about loading a sample into granulator iii. I love the instrument, and can, of course, create a project with a Granulator and desired sample on my laptop in Ableton Live and move to to my Push, but would obviously like to able to this quickly in standalone mode.

Any help out there?

It's not possible.
I think I heard too about someone who made a M4L device to work around this limitation, but I didn't check it... and I'm not even sure about it.

Hi there.

Since push 3 sa came out I’ve been waiting till ableton is doing something in this direction, but 12.2 & 12.3 didn’t bring an option yet to add samples to those kind of diverse.
To me, push 3 would be come a huge Granular Machine and would add so much to it.
Well, I‘m patiently waiting for it to arrive….

EDIT : Found the issue I had -> be careful not adding any file that isn't audio in any folder as it can bug the sample selection!

Any chance we'll have the visuals of the waveform like for simpler? it is surely needed on Push 3 SA !

Is the lack of visuals for Granulator 3 still an issue on Push 3?

I'm interested in buying a Push 3. However, not having full access to Granulator is a deal breaker.

I can't say if it's an issue or not, depends on everyone's preferences, but GIII doesn't display samples on P3.
The MPE pads work incredibly well with it, and to me that's way more useful than having the sample displayed.
