Hi folks,
Imagine i have a drum rack in Live, and i'm tweaking the filter on a pad with the dedicated Push hardware Simpler filter knob.
My question: is that controller data appearing at either the USB output, or the mini-jack MIDI output of the Push?
So imagine i wanted to record it (the data) somewhere other than Ableton, for example in Cubase. Would that be possible?
I would then want to also have the filter react when it receives the automation data back again from Cubase, but I'll cross that bridge if i get that far.
So basically i'm talking about using Push / Ableton like a hardware sampler, with the sequencing happening in another DAW.
I've been trying to output knob data at the minijack output, but so far, no dice!
