How do you save audio clips on the Push 3?

Post by lucianthorr » Tue Sep 23, 2025 2:50 am

In standalone mode:
Let's say I record some live audio into a clip on an audio track. How do I save that clip so that I can load it from a Sampler track?
The Sampler has a "+ to add a Clip" but when I press the "+", it's just letting me browse stock clips. There's got to be a way, right?

You can't save a clip from Push.
Instead of saving your clip, you need to hit the Convert button (once the clip is selected) and convert it to Simpler (there's no option to convert to Sampler).

But there's a trick:
Once your audio is recorded, save your set.
Then press Browse or Add button when your Sampler track is selected (as you already tried), and browse back to the "Current Project" folder.
Then go to the Project's "Recorded" (or "Processed" if you want to load eg a bounced audio etc...) folder and you'll find your recording in here ready to be loaded.

You're totally right. I don't understand the organization but after Add, it's Devices > Current Project > Samples > Recorded (or Processed).

I really don't understand why Current Project > Samples is under Devices and not Clips.
