Having some issues with options.txt

I just bought a new m4 pro macbook pro and am attemption to edit the options.txt file in my ableton to enable the importation of soundfonts and other multisample formats. This has been working just find for my installation for current ableton 12 on my Desktop PC but I can't seem to see what's wrong/not working on this new computer. Is this situation nonfunctional on ARM macs for some reason? Was this option removed in a recent update to ableton? Any help would be appreciated

It's possible that this one is Windows only, but any option that's not directly provided/documented by Ableton isn't officially supported anyway.
