Live 12.6 with Omnisphsere 3

I'm using Live 12.6 on macOS Sequoia with a Mac mini M4 Pro with 48GB of RAM, and I bought Omnisphere 3. It's very difficult to work with because there's a delay of several seconds when trying to adjust the knobs or change presets. Since I also own Logic Pro, I'm forced to work with Logic because I can easily manage multiple Omnisphere 3 tracks with it.

My question is, is it normal for a program costing over €500 (I'm talking about Live) to be so inefficient with one of the most popular plugins? Are there any solutions?
I'm very disappointed because I prefer Live, but I can't find a solution.

Are you using VST3 or AU? Did you try both options?
Did you ask Spectrasonics?

Well, VST/AU implementation, while standardised, is kind of all over (like programming in general I suppose). Every one has to play with but also around the "rules" to implement ideas that the formats were not really designed for. It's an art of tricks... which leads to bugs.
Meanwhile every user expect a DAW to support each and every of these "tricks" - and most probably questionable coding more often than not - and as you can imagine this is a giant impossible task, seeing the thousands available plugins.
That being said, Ableton has to make sure such a popular plugin is working as expected with Live, so after reaching out to Spectrasonics you could also write to Support.

Which version of Ableton Live are you using as 12.6 does not exist

The question you seem to have missed is why it works perfectly with Logic Pro but not with Live. It's not a plugin issue, since the same plugin works fine with another DAW.
