Ableton Link help

Hi there,

I have troubles making link work ok. Here are the details :
I have 2 computers running ableton (1 mac (15.6.1, 1 PC) and 1 iphone (running ableton note).
They are all connected on the same network (internet sharing from a S21).
The PC and the iphone running ableton note are linked, but the mac is not. Both computer have firewall off.
I do not understand what is the problem.

I did use Ableton Link 2 years ago with various computers without any problems (I am working with students for a workshop). I would like to do it again this year, but i am stuck.

Any help appreciated…

Does the Link button on your Mac at least shows the number of other instances? Are you able to toggle it (at least visually)?
Did you try linking everything in another order?

No the link button show no other instance on the mac. I am able to toggle it on/off, but no change.
Also, linking in another order makes no change.

Did you try another network, like home wifi?
Or maybe ad hoc network?

I would love to have a ad hoc network, but don't know how to do it (or if it is still possible) with my mac (M2 OS 26.3.1). This is another problem I have for other situations. I used to always use an ad hoc network so that i do not depend on various wifi for gig (using Lemur). But now, i can not anymore…
