Scenario:
Recording analog source into an Abelton Live track in Session View into a selected Clip slot of an armed Track
Use the Session Record button to toggle Start Record and End Record
Desired Result:
The Clip recorded is not warped nor looped, it is just recorded into the selected clip as is
Actual Result:
A default Clip is created with Warp and Loop on
Request:
How do I set the default Clip created when toggling the the Session Record button so that Warp and Loop are OFF by default
Footnote:
Global settings regarding Loop, etc. via Options/Preferences/Record-Warp-Launch appear to have no effect on this work flow
Thank you
clip default parameters
Re: clip default parameters
This works for mappings to some of the clip properties, so maybe try with the Warp and Loop (I didn't test):
in your default Set load a clip
deactivate Warp and Loop
delete the clip
save as default set
in your default Set load a clip
deactivate Warp and Loop
delete the clip
save as default set

Re: clip default parameters
Thanks very much, but this does not work,
I am new to this, and have now realized that I am just one of thousands of people asking about this and yet, still, Abelton refuses to allow this functionality.
At the risk of sounding super racist, and I hope you get the humour, but this is very "German" of them.

Well, that was totally useless and racist indeed...

Re: clip default parameters
well, I wouldn't call it racist, rather prejudiced or discriminative, unless Teutons are considered a new race nowadays...

Re: clip default parameters
That is stereotype.
And I'm closing the "debate" as you all know the Community Guidelines, right?
Let's discuss music and Live please.
