mediate in Clips

Post by Flowithoutspeakers » Sun Nov 16, 2025 10:43 am

Hello Ableton Live Forum,

I ask myself, if it there a easy possibility for mediate sounds within in one clip?

I want to have a sound, in the middle from one clip. Sorry my English is not so good.

I know that there are Time settings, to change the begin and the end of a clip.

Is there a Function to do it as a Setting?

Thank you,
Flo

Maybe other will understand but I couldn't. Could you maybe try describing your need differently?
Do you want to paste multiple samples into a single clip?

Hello and Thank you,

maybe there is a easier Way to do it.

if I have a second track, in the Clip View,

and one Clip is longer then the other one.

I want to place the shorter Clip in the middle of the longer one.

You need to do this in Arrangement as Session clips don't allow this.
If you want to end up with a single clip, do your collage on a single track. Once your happy with your result, you can select your multiple clips edit and consolidate them to a new sample.
