Rhythm Generator Layout Annoyance

Anyone else annoyed by this intrusive addition to layouts? It's bad enough we have to cycle through two more layouts with no way to use the jog to select. But this thing is adding notes to my clips just by being there. So If I want to change the pad layout it will inadvertently add unwanted random notes just by cycling past it with the layouts button. If it was not already intrusive enough, I should not be hassled with notes being added when I did not chose to use it. So stupid. So now I can't change my pad layout while the sequencer is running without this screwing up my song and making be go back and fix it.

To reproduce:
Load a drum rack.
Record your killer drum pattern.
Decide you want to use one of the layouts like 16 pitches or whatever.
Cycle past the Rhythm Generator Layout while you are jamming to the groove.

Result:
Thanks but no thanks for the AI assist that inserted garbage into my drum pattern without my permission.
I won't even go into my detest for random computer generated music.

Is it happening every time?
I know it happened to me several times and I don't know why but it looks like a bug (or the Generator pads are being touched inadvertently - since it's controlled by MPE Slide it's very sensitive). But it's definitely not happening every time.
The solution is to Undo... and to report to Support.

And supposing you did even want to use it, I can happily inform you that it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. At least the version in the beta firmware doesn't. It's utterly incomprehensible. Random? Yes. In a good way? No.

I apologize for ranting. At the time, I was able to reproduce the issue easily and was wondering if it was that way by design or a bug. I think you are correct that this is a bug since I am not able to reproduce the issue right now. Really not sure what triggers it but I will keep an eye out.

Ah, the new beta makes it easy to choose a layout directly now! Hold layout and the options appear on the lower buttons. Makes this less of an issue.

I was able to reproduce again but still not sure all the conditions to reproduce. Thinking it has something to do with undo/redo but not sure.

It is now fixed in the v2.3.5.
Let us know if you're still seeing this happening.
