This turned out so well I thought I would share how it was done.
Thanks to Travis at Gibraltar for helping out.
Extension will not hold extreme weight.
Parts needed in addition to the Gem stand.
2 x SC-GCRQT
1 20in Curve rack tube
1 20in straight rack tube
1 GEMC
I used a vice and hack saw to cut the curved rack tube down to 12”.

damn, that looks so performance-ready.
I'm definitely making this project.
Might look for an auction lot of Gem hardware, just in case the additional parts work for a studio. I've a less professional set up with pirated electronic drum kits and ultimate support stands

Q for you:
What are you using for the pancake that appears to be under the Push? ie, the tray: is it also part of this project? What do you typically use it for?
And what did your total come to? It seems to me that if you did this project Ala carte, it would be nearing $300 for all the parts.
Finally, what is the impetus for cutting the curved riser? Do you cut off from both ends and preserve the curve, or does it not matter? And could you keep it longer for an additional module or clearance?
I'm finding all the bits and bobs to be a bit prohibitive. Wish I could find a one-stop shopping. Might just check Gibraltar for their own cyber Monday sale...

The Gibraltar shelves are used for more stuff like adat expanders and other processors. I use a motu mk5 and a Kemper player.
