Push 3SA 2.3 and Focusrite 18i8 2nd gen
Push 3SA 2.3 and Focusrite 18i8 2nd gen
I am having trouble having my main out sent out to my Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 2nd gen monitor outputs. Push 3 recognizes the device, I get inputs just fine and I can output them thru Push integrated audio interface, but no matter how I set my audio interface thru the Focusrite Mix Control software no sound comes from any output of the interface.
Has anyone tried any of the 2nd gen Scarletts with the latest update?

Which Push/Live version are you running?
How is your Focusrite connected (USB, ADAT)?

Re: Push 3SA 2.3 and Focusrite 18i8 2nd gen
Sorry for the lack of info: I am running Push 2.3 and I'm testing the class compliant USB audio connection, so the Scarlett is connected to Push via the USB A port.

Are you part of beta testing?
Today's beta release fixes an issue that sounds a lot like what you're describing:
"Fixed a bug where only two input or output channels were shown on Push when an external audio interface was connected, even if the interface supported more channels. All available channels are now recognized as expected."

Re: Push 3SA 2.3 and Focusrite 18i8 2nd gen
I'm not part of the beta testing, I've seen the release notes for the beta but it seems to be related to another issue altogether, i.e. I see all audio interface inputs and outputs available on push, yet I have no sound coming out of the interface, no matter which output I select. Maybe it's worth giving a shot to the beta release, but I don't think it'll fix it.
Thanks for your support so far, I appreciate it

As you mention ' Focusrite Mix Control software', I'm guessing you aren't using the push 3 as a standalone, but you have it connected to a laptop or desktop. eg USB from the push, and USB from the Scarlett into a central computer.Scarsbass wrote: ↑Sat Nov 29, 2025 6:54 pmI am having trouble having my main out sent out to my Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 2nd gen monitor outputs. Is this a Windows or a Mac? What OS? I assume you have Live on the main computer?
Also, what are you using for the driver software? ASIO4ALL, or the driver supplied with the scarlett?
The last time i used the Focusrite software - it was with the VRM - Virtual Reference Monitor, (used to simulate various speakers' output to headphones).
The software was a pain to use back then.

You've basically got to tell Live where to send the output.
