I have Ableton Live 12.1 Standard on Mac Sonoma 14.6.
I have turned off "Auto-Hide Plug-In Windows", but whenever I select or Cmd+Tab to another application, the plugin window disappears even though I can still see Live. This is very annoying because I am trying to take notes on some of my plugin settings, but every time I try to type in my text editor, the plugin vanishes (grrr...)
Is there anyway to fix this?
Plugin window disappearing when selecting another app
Re: Plugin window disappearing when selecting another app
Yes, this is very annoying when trying to watch tutorials, or do anything outside of Ableton. I'm surprised this is still an issue as there have been reports on this for years.
Re: Plugin window disappearing when selecting another app
Not even sure it is a bug anymore if it hasn't been fixed yet. Still an issue in 12.3.
I have done a screen recording showing it but not sure I can upload it directly. It's been around for a long time as well and it really interrupts the workflow.
I also use an external sample manager and it effects dragging and dropping samples between third party VSTs.

Re: Plugin window disappearing when selecting another app
You're all using a multiple screens setup I suppose, right?
Are you running Live in fullscreen?

It's still worth reporting to Support.
