I think there's a bug when hot swapping an instrument. When in a collection, if I try to load the next sound, it will sometimes jump out of the collection and go to the instrument's folder.
Without being able to preview my sounds by loading them and playing them while staying in the same collection, it makes it near very difficult to pick one that works for a song.
Hot swapping bug in a collection
Re: Hot swapping bug in a collection
Hello,
I admit that hot swapping (and browsing, more generally) is a frustrating experience on the Push.
Maybe it's related to this bug: viewtopic.php?t=253052&sid=97160794d840 ... dd6464c1bb
Please submit a bug report so that it can be fixed someday.
EDIT: it reminds me that hot swapping an .adg from Push sometimes doesn't direct you to the current location of the one you want to replace, although it works well on Live. Maybe it's what you tried to explain.
Cheers,
creal.

Re: Hot swapping bug in a collection
If I remember correctly this is because Push's hotswapping sometimes treats .adg differently: it depends if you're eg loading an .adg that you saved as "default preset" VS the Core Library's default preset .adg for that same device.
Don't blindly quote me on this as I didn't scrutinise this issue for a long time, that's from the top of my head.

I tried this morning. It didn't work the first time, then it works well the other times, for the same user .adg preset in the same location (user library). Very weird... Therefore, I couldn't shoot a video to submit a ticket for that bug (lack of consistency).[jur] wrote: ↑Mon Dec 08, 2025 1:59 pmIf I remember correctly this is because Push's hotswapping sometimes treats .adg differently: it depends if you're eg loading an .adg that you saved as "default preset" VS the Core Library's default preset .adg for that same device.

If someone can shed a light on this, it would be very useful.
Thanks.
