Can't sign in :/

Hi,

I'm in such a pain-in-the-ass situation that I can't find any other way but to ask here and hopefully get the attention of some technical admin at Ableton.

I'm using Proton Mail which allows to use aliases (Simplelogin).

Some time ago, I decided to use aliases everywhere, on all my online accounts.

The alias would redirect emails to my actual account and I could delete the alias whenever I felt there's too much spam or whatever being sent to that alias.

But for some reasons, I have deleted by mistake the alias used for my Ableton account :cry:

So I'm stuck to the 2nd step of the login "To protect your account from invalid accesses, we've sent an email with a one time password to your email address. Please enter the code below."

While I still have saved my email/password combination, I don't have the alias to redirect that email and thus get that confirmation code.

Some may ask "Why don't you contact directly the technical team?"

Because I can't! You need to be logged in in order to contact the tech team of Ableton T_T

I had planned to enjoy my free time during the Christmas holidays, took a week off to make some beats but now I'm stuck with this login wall...

Thanks God I took my Ableton Note with me, but you can't even start to imagine how frustrated I am right now being locked out of my account.

So, if by any chance you know a way to solve this, please help!

P.S: note to any admin which may be able to help: I still have access to my previous email address used for my Ableton account.

Can't you remake the alias?

Unfortunately no.

Simplelogin will allow you to recreate an alias only if you used a custom domain, not @simplelogin.com :/

So, this is about your ableton.com account only, right?
Obviously you're here on the forum but just to make sure I'm not missing anything: you're using a different alias address for the forum?
And you need to change your ableton.com account email address to a new one (but you can't because you don't have access to the previous one, where the confirmation code is sent). Am I missing something?

I changed my main Ableton account's email to the one I'm using for the forum, which is a Proton's Simplelogin alias.

But it seems that I have for some (stupid) reason deleted that alias.

Logging into the forum is not an issue, because there's not 2FA authentication.

But when I need to log into the main website, it asks me for a verification code (2FA), which I can't provide because it's sending to that deleted alias.

All I need is the support team to put back my previous email (I have even sent a screenshot of the confirmation email I had received, stating that my new address is the alias and the old one is, well, the old one).

I guess you can't do much as you're the forum admin, but could you please check with the support? I haven't heard from them for 3 days :/

As you probably guessed time response is impacted by christmas holidays.
