Firmware upgrade to Push 2

Hello, got a few questions on the automatic upgrade of Push 2 in either Live 11 or Live 12 Standard. Awhile back I purchased a used Push 2 from Guitar Center, it works fine and is recognized by two separate computers, one with Live 11 Standard, and another with Live 12 Standard (after adding the Options file for Legacy driver). My issue is the firmware on my Push 2 is 1.0 Build 71, and I understand there are more recent firmware versions.

Neither Live 11 or Live 12 on either computer will give the option of upgrading the Push firmware. I have enabled Always in the Upgrade options. I've run out of things to try I'm afraid.

Question; is it necessary to have the Push 2 registered in your Ableton account for Live 11 or 12 to upgrade the Push firmware? I have not been able to register the Push 2 to my account as (to my knowledge) it is impossible to contact the seller of used equipment from Guitar Center. If registration is a fix, I can then try registering it through Ableton Customer Support.

Any other suggestions to fix the firmware upgrade issue are most welcome, thanks, and have a great New Year!

1.0 Build 71 is the latest P2 firmware.
For P1 and P2 the firmware is built into Live so there's no hardware upgrade mechanism.

As for registering it to your account, it's not a requirement.
