Hello!
Happy New Year everybody!
When starting up Live it takes a lot of time to get to the starting screen, after Computer startup.
The default project has not changed from 12.2 (snappier) and 12.3 (slower)
No plugin has been updated do far.
I am on 12.3.2 now.
During startup I observe the black logo screen and Starting Max is where it takes the most time.
I'm talking about half a minute to startup. Opposed to a maximum of 10/15 seconds in 12.2.x
After the first run if I close Live and startup again I got acceptable times, I think because it was cached the first time.
Hardware : Mac Studio M1 Max (Base model) with 32 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD.
OS : MacOS 15.7.1
Live Suite
Any suggestion?
Thanks
Pasha

Yeah, totally agree but, it only happens on the first start up after computer restart.
All consecutive Live start ups happen within couple of seconds until you restart your Mac again...
PS; I agree that this strange start up behaviour was not present on previous version of Live Suite... Go and figure...
Update; Somehow this issue managed to fix itself and all is back to normal now

If it only happened during the first startup, that was probably some kind if scanning (the Library scan should happen once loaded though, but I don't know all the details about the startup process).
Please file a bug report to Support with a Status Report if that happens again.

I'm not seeing this issue here and now, but there was a similar problem back on 11.3.2. Max for Live was taking around 30 seconds to start (the first time). A workaround was to install the latest standalone Max and point Live at it until the bundled M4L was updated.
