Endless encoders with Spitfire products

Hi all

I'm using a Launch Control XL3 that has endless encoders.

When using some Spitfire products - Labs, Epic choir etc, i notice that the encoders act strangely when changing patches within the pluggin.

If im on the first patch and change expression to 40%, when I change to the next patch and turn the expression encoder, it continues from / jumps to 40% again and continues from there, rather than taking on the value of the new patch.

I wondered if this is normal behaviour for these plugins. Ive tried changing a combination of midi settings for the Launch Control in Ableton - takeover mode, track / remote etc but have had no success.

With Decent Sampler I notice that everything appears to work fine when changing a patch, that the plugin seems to almost refresh each time a patch changes. I assume it works differently.

Ableton plugins also seem to work fine.

Since it's work as expected with other devices/plugins we can assume your settings are correct, and so it sounds like this could be an issue with the Spitfire plugin. Did you contact them?
