Agile.net crash error when attempting to make folder during save (Win11)

Post by PretzelPete » Wed Jan 21, 2026 2:44 am

Hi All

Just trying to troubleshoot this . . . wonder if anyone had this issue ever before?

Windows 11 system. Ableton 12.3.

When I go Save As . . . the Explorer file box thing pops up, and you can create a new folder . . . which I try as I want a separate folder (this bug ONLY happens when doing a new folder).

I then get an Agile.net error (""A debugger has been found running in your system. Please unload it from memory and restart your program."), which then shuts down Ableton.

I will go through an experiment with turning off other pieces of software I am running . . . but has anyone come across this?

I suppose it's something you haven't seen before, right?
Can you reproduce with any Set, or only specific one(s)?
Could this be due to a 3rd party plugin present in your Set?

Good advice which I THOUGHT I had previously followed but just tested it, and yes a blank Ableton session has no such issue, and therefore it is very likely one of my plugins!

Thanks!
