Metronome Wish-List Item: "Countoff-only" Option

Today's episode of Adventures In Click has prompted me to post this wish-list item:

Would we just love to see a metronome "Always Click / Click On Count Only" option?

I guess the latter would be dependent upon the currently-defined punch-in range, where the metronome would sound from play start until the punch-in point -- unless of course the counter is at 1.1.1. in which case the count is the metronome's configured [n] measures before that.

Sometimes all you need is a bit of a boost to get into the track, without then having the click in with you all the rest of the way. Digital Performer has had this for eons, and I make use of it all time in that environment.
