When I use the jun 6 from arturia v collection and set it to hold an arpegiator and record that to a clip, it doesn't work. When you have it going you can hear it just fine. But, When you play it back, you only hear until the part when you're holding the keys. As soon as you let go, you don't hear anything.
I used the ableton arp instead and it did work. But, even when using the ableton arp, you still don't see the midi data after you let go?
Does anyone know how to fix this with arturia and ableton? Or how to record arppegiators when you use hold?

You need to record the midi to another midi track if you want the output of the arp.

Ok, i figured out how to transfer the midi using two tracks, but,
I'm trying to record the intro to stranger things. I'm recording the arp using the arturia jun-6. While recording the arp, you slide the frequency lever in arturia jun-6 up and down. Transfering the midi data transfers the notes, but it doesn't transfer me sliding the frequency lever up and down. How do you have that transfer as well?
Also, to transfer the midi notes, I had to use the ableton arp because it didn't transfer midi notes to a second clip when I used the built in arp in the jun-6 in arturia.

I don't have the Juno soft synth so the following is speculation but it might be accurate
The problem is that while you can control the Juno using it's UI and get the audio you can't capture the MIDI data.
That is because the Juno S/W synth only outputs audio. Not audio and MIDI. Everything you do in the UI stays
inside the Juno.
I you want MIDI, you are going to have to create it yourself.
Given this situation, I would create a MIDI clip that played the notes you need.
You would then edit the pitch bend automation in the clip.
or
if you have a MIDI keyboard with the pitch bend and play the part.
If you want to try something interesting you could play the part using the Juno UI and record the audio.
Then use Lives audio to MIDI conversion to create a new MIDI track.
Just for fun I confirmed this theory with Gemini AI using the following prompt

The result was
