Recording Midi Clip Using Arturia Arpeggiator
- arpeggiator midi notes do not show in clip
- does not work after you save, close and reopen
Does anyone know why you can save, close and reopen a recording of Ableton's built in arpeggiator but you cannot save, close and reopen a recording of Arturia's built in arpeggiator (built in arpeggiators in their VSTs like the Juno-6)? Neither will show the arpeggiator midi notes in the clip, but why does the ableton arpeggiator still work after you save close and reopen it and the arturia one does not?

Recording Ableton Arpeggiator vs Arturia Arpeggiator
Re: Recording Ableton Arpeggiator vs Arturia Arpeggiator
Arpeggiator arpeggiate the notes sent to its input.
That would be notes you're holding on your keyboard, or notes sent from a midi clip. This is what you're getting so everything's right.
Now, why it's not working with your Arturia plugin when re-opening a set, I've no idea... but it should just work like Live's Arpeggiator, so it might be a bug in the plugin.
You should contact Arturia support and ask.
