Multiple External Audio Editors

Post by allreitzreserved » Thu Jan 15, 2026 8:57 am

Just a quick feature wishlist post:

I think it would be useful if one could have multiple audio editors set up.
I use Melodyne and Izotope RX9 as external Audio Editors, and switching between them is a bit annoying, because you need to go to the settings every time, to set your default Editor any time you change from one to another.

Thank you! :-)

Absolutely! +1 on that! While I have no idea about coding I guess that it shouldn't be too complicated to implement this and it would be pretty useful!

totally agree. If no ARA2 at least give us this. I use melodyne and spectral layers and would be great to be able to have them both at my disposal without the hassle of changing settings.
