How to link macro variations to clips / scenes?

Post by FREIHEIT » Wed Feb 18, 2026 11:04 am

I tried all the obvious things, pressing the macro variation pads while recording clips does not seem to be recorded.

I can not figure out how to link clips and / or scenes to macro variations. How is this done?

It is possible is it?

Also not mentioned in the manual... hmm, did they really not add that feature?

I read the other post about macro automation, that seems to go into the same direction but seems much to complicated.

I guess there must be one quick key combination / secret button press to do that?

Attaching macros to clips / scenes must be available somewhere. Is it? Is it not?

(You see I am really desperate about this.)

Than you very much for your attention!

Have you seen the M4L device called Variations?

Hi, thanks for your quick reacti8on!

Does it work on Push? Can I define variations on the Push only? From my understanding I need to define the Variations on the computer?

Is there a video showing how to use this on Push Standalone without Computer?
