push 3 user mode, custom script for external daw?

Hello, I like to develop plugins and random projects, and I was wondering if there was documentation for communicating with the push. for writing to the screen in user mode, showing button names, lighting up the pads to certain colors to indicate various controllability.

any guidance is helpful. I am a programmer, so I can work my way around docs.

Some people made scripts to run P3 with Bitwig (and maybe Reaper too?).
You should search in this area.
Did you already check Ableton's Github? There's Push-related stuff, see here.
