Push 2 displays only icon. Windows security update issue

Hello,

This week, my Push2 on latest Ableton 12.3.6 was now stuck on the logo screen. It was working fine in end of December and not anymore on my main PC (windows 11 home, intel i7-14700KF (3.40 GHz), Nvidia RTX-4060). On my old win10 laptop and Ableton 11, Push2 is working good.

I had reinstall Ableton and much more playing with drivers, etc. For hours...

Finally, I removed a recent Security update KB5077181 (26200.7840) and push2 is now functioning!

I tried to put back the security update and it stopped working again (to confirm). I also tried to add the next security update on top of it in case that was fixed (KB5077241 (26200.7922) and it was still failing.

So I will need to keep windows update disabled for a while (and check since after 4 week it will try to sneaky re-enable update).

I hope this might prove useful for other people.

I don`t think so as I don`t have any ASMEDIA USB3 Root hub to remove like the solution in the thread you refer. thanks anyway!
