saved searches missing after transfer to new pc

After a fresh install of 12.3.6 on new windows 11 pc I do not have my "Saved Searches" in the browser.
I do have my tags and custom tags which means the User Library migrated successfully.
Is there a file that I need to copy over?

Those are stored in the file Library.cfg in the Preferences folder. This file also stores the names of the collections.
If you look inside it with a text editor you'll see them in the section <labelinfo>.

You can find it in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Ableton\Live 12.3.6\Preferences\
This folder might be hidden.
How to access hidden folders

Copy the Library.cfg file from the old PC (or a backup) to the new PC, and then (re)start Live.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I found that document. I see the names of my custom Tag Categories, but not the custom tags. Although my customs tags do indeed appear in the browser.
What I do not see is any of my Saved Searches that should be on the left side of the browser under Library.

Did you look in the original Library.cfg file from the old pc?
Did you copy this file over to the new pc and restarted Live?

No, and No. This did not occur to me as Everything else is as expected. So I guess I'll try your new suggestion (after making a backup of the new file, just in case. I'll report back.

After replacing the new library.cfg with the one from the old pc the User Library looks exactly the same.
Still no Saved Searches.
Any other ideas?

After copying the old file, you can open it in a text editor to check whether the saved searches are present.
They are at the bottom of the file and start with <labelinfo.
Using the search function is the easiest way to check whether the saved searches you expect are in the file.
If they are, then maybe a database rebuild could solve the problem.

Nope, no saved searches, just the custom tags. I think I'll just recreate them.
