How to delete or mute a single effect?

Post by helas » Tue May 05, 2026 3:50 pm

Hi, I feel dumb asking this but I can't find an answer anywhere. I just need to delete a single effect from a track on the Move and I can't figure it out. I don't remember if I tried this before the 2.0.0 update. But no combination of holding or pressing the delete button while pressing or highlighting with the main jog wheel seems to do it. Only thing I can manage to delete or mute is the currently active clip. There also doesn't seem to be a way to replace the effect with "None". There is no "None" option in the effects list.

You're not missing anything, you can't delete a device.
It's always 1 instrument + 2 FX.
When you don't want any FX processing, just use any device that has a Dry/Wet and set it to 0%.

Okay thank you. Seems like an odd thing to omit from the workflow but that'll do.
