Hi,
Since updating to 12.4 on macOS Sequoia, I’ve run into two issues that are messing up my workflow:
.asd files on Export: Live is now creating an .asd file every time I render a master. This never happened before in previous versions unless I was importing or recording. It’s very annoying to have to manually clean up the export folder after every render. Is there a way to stop this?
Video Window: The video window is completely unresponsive to full-screen commands. Double-clicking the window does nothing. Scoring to picture in Live is already difficult enough as it is, and we've been asking for bread and butter improvements for years. Having something as basic as full-screen mode break is beyond frustrating.
Is anyone else seeing this?
Thanks.

I just updated to 12.4. I'm using Live on a M1 pro MBP running Sonoma, and I use the video window quite often.
- I don't see your issue with .asd file on export. Are you sure you unchecked the box "create analysis file" on render ? I notice it was checked after the update, so I had to uncheck it.
- I'm not sure of the exact way the video window was used before, but yes it seems it's impossible now to turn it full screen with a double click. I'm pretty sure it was the case before.
You can still click the green button on the top-left corner and the video window then occupies the whole screen, but it's not the exact full screen mode like before (where you don't see any border of the video window).
I suggest you send a support ticket to Ableton. I will do this from my side.
Except for that issue (and the fact they now put the inactive midi clips all dark grey - why just not desaturate them so we keep the color coding ?), I find the update quite nice... I was especially annoyed by the lag in the browser and the front-back GUI window bug (the first GUI window opened was sometimes staying front).
Re: Live 12.4 (Sequoia): .asd files created on export and Video Full Screen is broken
I just had an answer from the support.
The video window bug is a known bug, and it will be fixed at an un determined date.
But at least they know the bug and I'm pretty sure they will take care about it quite soon (I guess it's not a very difficult bug to fix)

Thx for the heads up Calagan.
