select vertical column of clips in arragnement view

I very often wish i could select vertical column of clips in arrangement view. my goal would be to specifically grab every clip that starts at the same bar/beat and move them together. You can do it with the mouse, but its a real basic function that could use a shortcut.

Simply holding Shit+Up/Down from the top or bottom can work many times.

Cltr+L (set Loop Braces) > Ctrl+Shift+L (Select Loop Brace Contents).

Also grouping and Link Tracks can help with that too.

Thats pretty close. shit+up or down. i gets me closer to what i need. sometimes my sessions are lots and lots of tracks and groups.. but this is better than gragging the mouse around.
