Problem with opening and playing an ALS file from my friend on another computer
Problem with an ALS file received from my associate. I sent him the WAV files and he constructed a project. When he returned everything back to me, nothing plays on my end. We both Have Ableton 12 suite. I use Ableton for desktop, and he uses MAC.
I have screenshots of everything, but I'm not sure how to attach them to this pst

Make sure to "collect and save" (and check all options) before sharing it, this will make sure to include everything in the project.
As long as you're not using 3rd party plugins and you're using the same Live edition, then it should be flawless.

Please use an image hosting service; no one wants to download a Project file from someone on a forum.

Project opened, but you have to manually search for the samples...

After this the missing samples were found and the project played...

The folder "Ableton Project Info" was missing from the project folder.
Although this folder is empty, it is required for Live to locate all the files it needs.
Add the folder, and the project opens without issues.
