Live 4 and a Roland Juno-D - HELP!

I've been using Live 4 for a while for DJ'ing so know the basics of using the programme. I now like to try and make some of my own tunes. I've got a Juno-D synth, hooked up to a audiophile soundcard which goes into my laptop. (no mixer) I've used one of the drum kits on the synth to lay down the drums (on Ch 10). The problem I've now got is that I want to add some other elements (ie bassline) using different soundbanks but i can't work out how to get the synth to play any more than the drum sounds at the same time. I've read the manual but am none the wiser - more of an experiental learner! I'd really appreciate any advice or links to sites that might be able point me in the right direction.

Also is the Juno-D any good for a beginner? Anything better in that kinda price range?

you should look at recording the drum sound you have and then putting it in simpler, or impulse or another sampler.

if you do wanna use the juno like you said, you will have to put each sound on a different midi channel, and set up a midi track in Live which transmits to that channel.

hey i had a Juno D and used it with Ablton extensivly.

You dont need to rcord in the audio. tll play 16 channels (16 noises) at any one time... all you need is X amount of midi channels in ablton, 1 audio track adn the software that came with the juno.
