I'm noticing a loss in sound quality when consolidating clips. The clips sound fine before consolidation. Once consolidated, however, the clips sound like a low-grade streaming MP3 -- especially noticeable on the high end of the spectrum.
Any ideas on what's causing this, and what I can do to fix this rather annoying situation?
thanks in advance

Consolidating clips uses the Warp engine, so that's probably what's happening. If you don't actually want to Warp, then turn Warp off for the clips, or make sure you select Repitch (this is a good default to set in options). Complex warp on a clip where the tempo is the same as recorded tend to mangle the sound as you describe.
