silence for first beat?

Just downloaded 502 to see if this would fix it (it didn't), but I've started having a problem which results in the first beat or so of what-evers-playing to be silent! I'm sure this hasn't appeared before..

Surely I can remedy it?! any ideas?

Am I the only sufferer of this?
Is it on the list of things to fix?

I can't believe it's been left so long! Everytime I press play I miss the first beat of everythin! (admittedly rendering is fine)

I've been in contact with Ableton's tech support and basically, to fix it, they need to reproduce it. I have the problem but it seems to be related to my laptop's performance. If I replace window's shell for Live instead of explorer, the problem is fixed but this is annoying.

If anyone can reproduce this at will, let them know and we'll have a new version.
