Sawpusher - Revolution : New Track made with 5 and 5 C I O!

Post by Ambioun - Techno Man » Fri Oct 28, 2005 4:30 am

I have completed a new track and am now revealing the new alias, sawpusher.
Made with Live 5, Soundtrack Pro (restoration and mastering), Reaktor 5, Suppatrigga, Native Bundle, Absynth 3, Ambience, SpaceMaster, Pro-53, and a whole lot more.

The track is entitled Revolution. Please leave comments.

I really like the drum track. I have only 2 suggestions. 1) when you back the long pad chords off, when the pointalistic melody begins, back them off a touch more they're just a touch in the way. i like when the pad comes back to full with the melody later though. 2) check the counterpoint between the bass and the pointalistic melody, sometimes they don't quite fit, which is cool, but not if overdone. Keep up the good work.. :)

I don't think Tarekith was talking about the name alone. It *sounds* a lot like squarepusher... But it's a nice study of mid/late-nineties Squarepusher, that's for sure! You freaking nailed it - I still think the bassline needs some FM, though ;)

perhaps "sawshover" would bring less litigious thoughts to mind. :D

in other news, i do enjoy the track much. it definitely has pearsquoosher influence, and how. a bit much reverb on the drums for my taste, but otherwise, very enjoyed.

how about "Triangle exertion" or maybe "sine thruster", how about "S/H dislocator",
or ,"Fm egg on" ,....nope sinethruster is the best.

nice track though
