Yes, having the option in wich color the waveform is displayed undependent on the skin would be nice.
Most of them are brown, I don´t like brown and you can´t distinct the playmarker wich is black.

yes im having that small issue - in large files, its very tough to see the cursor in the waveform view.

if my clip's not playing ill even grab the gain, turn it down a bit - so i can see where the cursor is - and turn it back up to zero!

ive even gone as far as to midi automate the gain, and assign another Midi button that sends THAT same CC, but sends a constant value, which corresponds to gain of about zero. SO i can do it all quick.
tial
Cus it's essential i see the cursor in a clip quickly, often.

theres been many times as a DJ i was playing a brand new record that i dont know inside out. just need to see the dynamics - the breaks - where i am, and whats left, and FAST!

i think its important to get things changed in the future, we pick small things like this, and keep the threads going to rally support.

Yeah what's up with this? This is my biggest gripe with 5, I cant see the marker! I like lighter colored waveforms that I can see against a medium dark background.

gonna keep buggin on this one, too!
i have to constantly zoom in and back out of a clip to see the playhead marker.
(these are full tracks, or pieces. an 8 bar loop - well, no big deal.)
but its another thing i have to keep puttin my hands back on the keyboard AND mouse for...

i mentioned in another thread, maybe a new field for playback position. just numbers, like the in or out field, yet it scrolls, like a mini transport.

what do u think of that?

Yeah this is a really stupid thing they have done, for live gigs the clip view is almost useless now. Grr!!

I agree wholeheartedly.

Not too bothered about colours, but at least make a strong definition between the cursor and the waveform.

Used the awesome new Clip Scrub function on the wrong damn track while DJing yesterday. Not the first time either.

Trying to find a skin that fixes this (pale grey waveform & black play marker would sort me out... or at least lets see a return of waveform & clip sharing the same colour) ... a hefty BUMP!
