Cubase with ableton?

I am activating ableton via rewire and all my synths disappear and are unable to found from the track im trying to use, what can i do to fix this?

When Ableton Live is running as a ReWire slave it's not possible to host VST plugins in Live (unfortunately). This is documented in Live's manual. There's no fix or workaround unfortunately.

I'd love to know the technical reason for this ...
