Arturia Minimoog V and Unacceptable pops/clicks in Live 5!

It is unacceptable.

If I play 4 or 5 voices (read chords) The minimoog starts to click and pop!!

I work on G5 2GHZ with 2,5 of ram and Live 5.

is this an issue for Arturia to solve or for Ableton?

Which version of Live are you running ?

I'm running Minimoog (version 1.5) and 5.02 and pops/crackles problem has reduced substantially however Minimoog (especially with the SoftClip function active) is extremely processor hungry.

I had massive pop/crackle problems with ALL Arturia's synths (I own ARP2600V, MinimoogV, Moog Modular 2V, CS80V) during the pre release beta phase of Live 5 however ....

It seems whenever I hid the Arturia's plugin GUI the crackling would stop and the sound of the plugins would be fine.

Possibly this has something to do with the GUI update routines Arturia are using?

The strange thing about it is Live5beta only had this problem when on the same system, hosting these same plugins in Nuendo3 with same ASIO buffer size settings had no problem.

From Live 5.01 and .02 the crackling problem has lessened significantly however still appears to be present if I'm pushing my system too hard with other VSTi's at the time like Korg Legacy Collection (which is totally understandable!).

I've just become quite accustomed to using Freeze alot when using multiple CPU-thirsty VSTi's ....
