Problems with Faderfox midi controller

Hi

Hope someone can help me

I just recently (today) recieved my LV1. But I am having problems with the button(s). I cannot automate the bypass buttons (ie to turn on autofilter etc). Once Assigned you can see it flash quicly as though it was turning it on and just does not work. Works fine if I assign it to my keyboard!

All the pots seem to work ok when assigned - just the button stuff.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have a Powerbook G4 - M-Audio Firewire Audiophile - LV1 faderfox and Logic 5

hey , at first i was having problems understanding what you were talking about , but i think i know what you mean....

one thing you need to remember about the pots and buttons on the faderfox is that they are track specific.....as in , you dont just assign a button to a function , it also matters what track is highlighted on the faderfox.....

so the same button with track 1 highlighted sends a different CC# than the same button with track 2 highlighted , and so on....

I am now having a similar problem.

I can happily assign my EQs on all channels (using eq3 rather than eq4) but I am now having trouble assigning pots and buttons to effects. I can assign once (channel one) then after selecting the next channel (LED on channel 2) i am asked if i want to overide previously assigned effects rather than using the same pots/buttons.

Probably something really simple but its *really* irritating me!!!
