Our biggest problem is that our drummer is calling up the sets and it's hard to use the trackpad with sweaty hands, and hard to read the display. Overall, it's clumsy, awkward and slow. But if he could call up sets with his feet, it would make a huge difference.
So - what I'd like is a different interface option for live use:
- Browse the file browser, scroll up/down, select scenes, all with midi foot controller.
- Much bigger browser text.
- Large bar/beat display, or visual cue for the downbeat.
- Tempo display.
- Songlist. Because LIVE sorts files alphabetically, I have to rename songs everytime I change our live show. It would be nice to be able to put together songlists that stay.
Unrelated but nice:
- Markers and locate points!!
- Resizable vertical tracks in arrange window
- Tear-off menus. Especially nice in multi-screen set-ups.
- Multiple arrangement variations. I'd love to be able to arrange different versions of tunes for comparison.
