Midi editing: focus on notes

Post by amo » Thu Nov 03, 2005 12:49 pm

Hi,

A simple question and reflection. As I double click on a midi clip, the clip properties and notes appear in the bottom pane. I hit ctrl A, and all the notes are selected but is I then try to use the arrows on my computer keyboard, the notes don't move. As if they were not in focus, tough they were with the ctrl A. So my simple problem is to understand why is that behaviour.
Maybe it could sit in the features wish list...
Best,

amo

It´s the same here, if I click one time in the midieditor and ctrl+a I can toggle between fx view (by doubleclicking on the track) and midieditor view of the same clip, then you get focus back. Once you select an other clip then the focus has gone, thats very unpractical.
Perhaps a small bug, as it shows focus by selecting all the notes and noting happens.
