I've been experiencing a problem where the wav display that ableton displays doesn't match up with the actual music. I've seen it manifest itself in several different ways.
1) Sometimes when I start to zoom in, I'll see the beat structure clearly and then at some critical zoom level, the whole waveform pops and it looks like the beats shift left\right or notes will get added before what used to look like the start of the song.
2) sometimes when I drop 2 or more mp3s to be decoded into my playlist at once, ableton appears to decode it properly until I really zoom in and see that its the first few notes of the track are cutoff? This doesn't appear to happen when I only drop one track in at a time making me think its a performance issue with ableton (it happens identically on 2 computer)
This is causing me grief. Its especially bad because I want to transfer my sets between 2 computers, and whenever I do, the set comes out different because the waveforms decode incorrectly.
Has anyone seen this problem. Better yet, does anyone know how to fix it?
Wav files not displaying properly.
I have this issue too. I have 3 really long wav samples (other rendered channels). When I disable WARP the play position in the Arrangement view is always behind the clip view play position. The only way I've found to fix this is to turn on WARP to Complex. I really don't need to WARP since the file is already in sync with my song.
