{OT} Why do we fear death?
very good answer and view..We are born to fear and then we live in constant fear.
Maybe death is the opposite. Maybe it is the hardest part of life is living..death is the easy part.
but then again..we may go onto a new place..our next destination..as like in space, there is no end that we can conceive.

My guess...sex feels great!sqook wrote:. Perhaps now we can move on to answering the long standing question "Why do we like sex?".
Instant high, and gives a sense of security perhaps between animals. Also a major sense of special communication that we do not always can use..even though we are communicating the search for sex all the time.

i think a good adrenaline pumping activity can help one to put death into a new perspective
I use skiing to put fear into a different mindset..
i think as people move away from the elements of nature more and more, the basic instinct to survive gets buried into your psyche. Thus making it easier for the fear to reach into normal day to day life. Where as if you are dealing with the frailty of Life itself on a day to day basis your instincts will be put to use and be far more defined (as opposed to being restricted) by fear.

Gotta know where to look. Webberville is the home of the MBC and is quite good.last time i was in michigan i couldn't find a decent IPA to save my life and i almost died...
Webberville is about 15 miles east of Lansing. Michigan Brewing Company is a fantastic Microbrewery, well worth a visit if your ever in the area again. In fact if you ever coming this way, PM me and I'll take you there myself.

Yes, death is not the problem.SethAbare wrote:hardly anyone really fears death, more people are afraid to live in my opinion.
Because of some things the last year I often wake up with fear. Fear of living, being responsible, having to step into another day.
I can't look forward without seeing problems, things that can go wrong, situations which I might not be able to handle, etc.
And that's kind of dying in life, which is sh*t.
I would rather fear death and being lovingly and positive alive.

I respect life and totally love it..even when it gets fuking! hard ..it is all like a game..
Hardest part in life is dealing with others...but this is the challenge.
Mankind needs challenges as it starts in childhood..Games, puzzles etc..
The real thing I like to ask myself is what am I doing good for the world or
what is my mission or purpose to be living..??
