Creating a Loop & Saving That As Original Loop?

Post by oolongcamio » Sat Nov 12, 2005 3:25 pm

I create plenty of guitar loops, but is there a way to save that as its own loop file, like how Ableton comes with loop files.. I want to add mine in there and save em for later.... How do I do this?

here's what i do.

record your loop from session view to arrangement view. in arrangement view, set the selection to the size you want (based on the loop beginning and end) and render it to an .aif or .wav file. there are render settings that pertain specifically to loop creation as well. and you can automatically create an .asd file too.

A) u can render from session by selecting the clip.

B) u can save the clip as a "loop" by just dragging it to the browser, and it will be saved as an .ALC instead of a wav file. u can save as many varaitions a su want this way !
my favorites at the moment: MASSIVE. FM8. LIVE 6. Bome's Pro. KORE.
