Custom mouse-button function assignment

I used a program called USB Overdrive on my mac to assign specific funtions to my mouse buttons, so that I could undo, redo, and change from Clip information to Effects, etc.

I had to uninstall that program because (I think) it was causing problems with VirusControl for my Access Virus TI.

Could we get that functionality directly integrated into Live? It was incredibly useful - now that I've had it, not having it is torture.
