Core Audio problems using Motu 828 MKII

Using Ableton 5 i got a problem with my Motu interface (828 MKII); it don't gives a sound, but only high beeps. Resetting my interface, by cabling of the fire wire cable,reset the Motu,switching it of,firewire on again and than power on on the Motu, doesn't solve the beep. Using i tunes i have no problems, so anyone who can help me out with this?

did youu try resetting the motu to factory conditions? i think it's the last option in the menu on the interface itself. i had a similar problem with logic a while back and this solved it....

Thanks for the reply. I did several resets, but the high beep is still there. My itunes version6 works fine and The Motu program Audio Desk is also doing allright.

I've got an 828mk2 and I'm using Live 5.0.2 here on my G5 w/ OS X Tiger. Never once experienced anything like what you're describing. Contact Ableton and/or MOTU, and of course, make sure you've got the latest version of your MOTU drivers.
