I have a problem with my graphic on laptop when I use Ableton.My resolution is 1600x1200. Do anybody had the same problem?

When I use 8 or more tracks and let's say some vst plug-ins my graphic became not soelegant. The graphic stop for a moment (some seconds) and begin being normal after some seconds. Is this problem because I have resolution 1600x1200 or because of too much plug-ins?
In cubase sx I don't have that problems with the same resolution.
Any idea?

What about more specs of your laptop?
Wich graficcard do you have, if it´s shared memory this could be the problem?
