I know this isn't a film discussion site, but the film is music/producer/DJ related, and funny as hell.
Just for fun, have you seen this film, and what are your thoughts. I love these types of mocumentary films. It's a very interesting perspective for movie making. If you haven't seen it here's the beta http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0388139/
And no, I am not affiliated with the film, I just found it interesting.
Another good mocumentary is Fubar. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0302585/
And of course This is Spinal Tap http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088258/
Anyway, sorry to hijack the forum, but just felt like writing : )

Just saw it Saturday - Awesome movie
Seriously what would you do if you lost your hearing?
The quick spot of Carl Cox
I also trainspotted him using Pro-Tools with the 2 Austrians
I like how they actually we're djing with split screens, you could actually hear him beat matching or not
Awesome movie
go buy it

I found most of the film really depressing.
I was amused that he felt he had to quit the coke but he continued to booze it up- I think in reality the booze would lead you to ignore dangerous, long term volume levels more readily than the coke, but of course the mix would amplify all of the neglegtful behavior (speaking from exp.
). I did like the flip flop subwoofers though...

I just flew into Honk Kong and during the descent, my ears started to hurt like hell, and they continued to do so all day yesterday so badly I had to call a doctor. He said I have some small lacerations on my eardrums, and that they should be fine. But it's fucking scary to experience this as a musician. I have to fly back out of here tomorrow... so as you can imagine I'm quite scared.djadonis206 wrote: Seriously what would you do if you lost your hearing?
