MIDI tracks quantizing to 16th notes

When I create MIDI loops on the fly in Live 5, on instant playback they automatically quantize as 16 notes. My quantize at the top of the interface is set to 1 bar. How can I have MIDI notes not quantize at all like recorded audio?

top of Live: Edit>Record Quantizion>No quantization---there are a few types of quantize in Live, some independant of other types as in this case.
