Audio Recorder Programn Needed
Hi all,
Im looking for an Audio Recorder Program which could help me out with this:
I'll try to explain:
I wanna grab samples of the TV/DVD (ignoring copyright here but hey) without recording long segments of audio. For example Im watching TV and i hear a sample which i could use. Obviously because ive allready heard it, it would be too late to press record and sample it..... so does anyone know a Program which has say a 2 min buffer in which you could press record after you hear what you want, and still grab the sample, as the last 2 mins would be in memory.
Hope that makes sense!
Cheers

Thought TIVO was a set top box thing which was mainly for video. Was really after the same sort of thing but just audio, which i could just link my laptop to the audio out of the TV and for instance hit "space bar" every time something nice/funny come along.
Surely everyone on here has at some point been watching TV, heard something and thought "That would of made a F%^ing great sample" be it funny or serious.
I really hope theres a program out there that will do this!

audio track one: incoming audio from tv or whatever, like soundflower on mac to have the dvd audio from the movie your watching on your laptop (or similar on pc). put 4,5, 6, 7,... simple delays on that track, set the delays all to 'time 16', mix = wet, feedback = 0%.
audio track two: select input as 'audio track one'. record on this track.
if you set the global tempo to 60 bpm, each simple delay will, ahum, delay the signal for four seconds...
